This comprehensive training will be available beginning on May 1st, 2024, and was created to meet the new state-mandated requirements, designed specifically for law firms. Whether you're in California or beyond, this course empowers your firm to address workplace violence efficiently and effectively.
Designed specifically for law firms to train their lawyers & staff
Not just a training solution, but a method for validating that each member of your firm has accessed and acknowledged your Workplace Violence Prevention Policy and/or Plan.
The course is designed to help your people:
Access and refer to your firm’s Workplace Violence Prevention Plan for details on how your firm is addressing workplace violence and identifying, evaluating, and controlling workplace violence hazards.
Identify problematic and violent behaviors and the different types of workplace violence.
Spot early warning signs of violence and workplace hazards.
Take steps to prevent workplace violence.
Act appropriately when faced with workplace violence or any of its warning signs and hazards.
Report incidents of workplace violence and any warning signs or hazards.
Approximate 30-minute interactive course.
Similar in concept to our Respectful Workplace Harassment Awareness Series.
The primary content and messaging are appropriate for use across all law firms and jurisdictions (California and beyond).
Branding is included in the annual license fee – including a firm-branded title page, a link to your POC for questions, and a link to your Violence Prevention Plan and/or policy.
Customization of the course will be available if you’d like to tailor the messaging further to the specifics of your firm’s plan. (Additional fees apply for customization).
The policies, procedures, and expectations covered in the course are presented as if they are coming from your firm, not “some outside training vendor.”
